Caught this on Netflix (which I know a lot of people have raged quit, but whatevs), and I had to make some caps of Brad Pitt in “Johnny Suede”, since he spends a lot in movie in skimpy underwear.

Johnny Suede is a young man with an attitude and an immense , who wants to be a rock n' roll star like his idol . He has all the stylistic accoutrements, except a pair of black suede shoes. One night, after leaving a nightclub, like manna from heaven, a pair of black suede shoes falls at his feet. Soon afterward, the recently completed Johnny meets Darlette, a sultry with whom he beds down for the night. In spite of Darlette's abusive gun-toting boyfriend, Johnny begins to see Darlette every day. But when Johnny is forced to pawn his guitar for rent money, Darlette mysteriously leaves him. Johnny's pal Deke fronts him the money to get his guitar out of hock, and the two form a band. Depressed about Darlette's desertion, he wanders aimlessly, and he meets Yvonne, a woman much wiser than Johnny who teaches him that there are things in life much more important than a pair of black suede shoes.

FOR Johnny Suede (1991) YOU CAN

The story follows Johnny Suede who is a young man with an attitude and an immense , who wants to be a rock n’ roll star like his idol . He has all the stylistic accoutrements, except a pair of black suede shoes. And one night, after leaving a nightclub, like manna from heaven, a pair of black suede shoes falls at his feet.

Johnny Suede, a young man with a freakishly large pompadour (Brad Pitt), tries to pay the rent, keep a girlfriend, and make it as a musician in the big city. Suede, who's stuck in the 1950s and not entirely sympathetic, is an interesting character but the script doesn't give him much of interest to do. Quirky casting (Tina Louise and Nick Cave in small roles) helps a little but not enough.
