Better known as the “Property Brothers” from their shows on HGTV, home renovation superstars Drew and Jonathan Scott took on the musical moniker of “The Scott Brothers” for their new single and music video, The Scott brothers said the songwriting inspiration came from their own lives:
The Scott Brothers – Des, Neville and Robin established Highdown Stud in 1967 in Kwa Zulu Natal. With the dream of creating a high class thoroughbred stud, they conducted a thorough study of the most successful stud farms around the world, collecting all the best and most practical design elements and bringing them back to South Africa.
Targeted at adults aged 25 to 54, the radio show will be hosted by Drew and Jonathan Scott, stars of W Network’s and their brother J.D. Scott, who will talk about everything from dating and relationships, to travel and health. Gord Harris, brand director, Talk Radio AM 640, tells the hosts won’t be talking about home improvement because the aim of the radio show is to showcase other sides of the Scott brothers’ personalities.
But the entrepreneurial twin brothers have been entertaining audiences long before they became stars. They were both actors even while attending school for their respective interests in real estate and construction. That longtime passion for film and film production led to the creation of their own production company, which later became Scott Brothers Entertainment, a major arm of the Scott Brothers lifestyle brand. Scott Brothers Entertainment is an independent production company defined by a commitment to produce high-quality, multi-genre content across all platforms. With offices in both the US and Canada, Scott Brothers Entertainment is currently in production on two original series for Scripps Networks Interactive, as well as developing numerous projects for various platforms.
